Han Tang Chinese Learning 汉唐学院

Han Tang Academy is a Singapore-based education institution, established in 2020 and registered with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. They specialise in Chinese and English language enrichment, as well as cross-border learning programmes and global cultural exposure. Han Tang serves children from K1 through to Secondary 4. Their educational philosophy emphasises cultivating lifelong language users—not just test-takers—while providing a global outlook and strong local curriculum alignment. This fits seamlessly with Agora’s mission of holistic education: helping children grow not only academically but also as confident, curious, globally-aware learners. What Makes Them Different Han Tang curriculum is structured and modern: they combine language development (listening, reading, writing, speaking) in both English and Chinese, with an emphasis beyond scores toward real-life usage. Their teaching team is comprised of native Chinese-speakers, registered with the MOE in Singapore, holding qualifications from Bachelor’s to PhD, and experienced in Singapore’s local syllabus. Additionally, Han Tang brings in global and cultural dimensions: they’ve engaged students across Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan and the US, participating in cultural competitions and international outreach projects in Gaza and Pakistan. Because of this combined local-global, language + culture + structured learning model, Han Tang stands out among enrichment providers. For parents wanting their children to excel academically and become confident communicators in a global context, this partner delivers. Why Agora Students Enjoy Learning with Them Lessons at Han Tang are interactive, language-rich and culturally engaging: children explore both Chinese meaningful activities, not just worksheet drills. Class sizes are designed to enable attention and progress: small-group formats, children get the support they need to build confidence. Parents often share that their children become more expressive in languages, more curious about culture, and more motivated to learn beyond textbooks. Over a short period, students can see tangible growth in how they use language in everyday life. At Han Tang, children don’t just reach the next grade—they develop pride in their communication skills, broaden their global outlook, and embrace learning as something fun and purposeful.
