Dental and Pharmacy Camp

Course Overview: 

Inspiring the next generation of Dentist and Pharmacist. Enter the wonderful world of dentists and pharmacists this holiday season where your children get the chance to role play in an interactive, enjoyable, and hands-on way!

Course Content: 

𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹

Dental Profession ‒ identify dentist’s tools, practice 6 most common dental procedures, role play filling a cavity

Dental Anatomy ‒ explore major parts of mouth, different types of teeth, and child’s growing mouth

Homecare ‒ practice oral hygiene at home, experience dentist prevention visit

𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆

Pharmacist’s Workstation ‒ familiarise pharmacist’s equipments, make an ointment and a solution, understand brand drug and generic

Medication ‒ learn how to compound, label, and prescribe medication

Poisonings ‒ understand the dangers of poisons, common poisons, accidental poisonings prevention

Learning Outcomes: 

• Gaining a passion for the medical field
• Unlocking their leadership and teamwork skills
• Become artistic visionaries, infusing projects and demonstrations with their captivating, imaginative touch
• Finding solutions at the face of challenge

• Hands-on Activities: Children will be challenged by our instructors to think critically and creatively with our range of activities.
• Fun Loving Teachers: Our skilled instructors make learning about medicine fun and exciting, engaging the children with high energy and excitement.

Snacks will be provided.

Early drop-off and late pick-up at Agora:

Agora is offering an early drop-off and late pick-up service for parents who have signed their children up for our Holiday camps. Parents are welcome to drop their kids off from 8am onwards and pick them up by 8pm latest. This service is free for children aged 7 and above. Please do note that lunch is not provided unless stated by the camp provider so please do pack lunch if they plan to stay during lunchtime.
