Designed to break away from the rigid way in which Mandarin is traditionally taught, EduGrove's programmes put the emphasis on application of the spoken and written language through active learning and play to achieve long-term memory retention. To ensure that every element of learning is FUN, ENGAGING and EFFECTIVE, we use specially designed word games, drama techniques including improvisational and role-play, and stimulating discussion sessions during which students are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas. Starting with Mandarin PlayGrove, our unique adult accompanied Mandarin playgroup programme, through our programmes for pre-schoolers, primary students (including a focused Chinese composition class for P3-P6) and our Mandarin Through Play Holiday Programmes, we cover all Chinese study needs. EduGrove’s curriculum closely follows the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) syllabus for Chinese Language at both primary and secondary levels, ensuring plenty of familiarity with MOE designated keywords. In fact, our teaching team continually collates the latest exam papers from various schools to ensure that commonly tested keywords are emphasised. Students – and parents – can look forward to improved results in school and feel confidently prepared for exams.
