Course Overview

Take your child's creativity into the world of real-life design and engineering! In this advanced hands-on workshop, students will learn how professionals design and manufacture products using Autodesk Fusion 360, an industry-standard 3D modelling software. From digital concept to physical object, students will experience the full design-to-print journey - creating their own precise models and watching them come to life through 3D printing. This programme is perfect for young makers who are ready to move beyond basic modelling and explore more complex, realistic designs.

Course Content

Students will explore advanced 3D modelling skills using Fusion 360, including: Building accurate and detailed 3D forms Preparing models for 3D printing Understanding support structures and slicing Optimising print settings for better results Removing supports and finishing printed models Through guided practice, students will learn how professional designers think, plan, test, and refine their creations.

Prerequisites

Students should have attended Level 1 Introduction to TinkerCAD + 3D Printing AND Level 2 Introduction to TinkerCAD + 3D Printing

• Two snacks and lunch included
• Students may bring their own laptop
