Overview
Unleash your child’s inner athlete and scientist in this action-packed holiday camp for children aged 6 to 8! Blending physical activities, scientific exploration, and creative design, this camp is designed to spark curiosity, build essential skills, and inspire creativity. Through exciting sports team relay games and hands-on science experiments, your child will stay active, learn new skills, and have loads of fun!
Course Structure
- Duration: 5 days
- Timing: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily
- Flexible Options: Pro-rated participation is available
Daily Schedule
- 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Team bonding & Sports Games
- 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM: Snack break
- 10:45 AM - 12:00 PM: Science Sessions
Science Session - Little Eco Explorers Version
Join us for a hands-on, curiosity-filled journey as we explore how nature, science, and technology work together to build a more sustainable world! Each day, children will engage in fun, age-appropriate STEM activities inspired by real-world environmental challenges in Singapore and beyond.
Day 1: Wildlife in Urban Cities & Canopy Bridges
Children will learn how animals like monkeys and squirrels navigate city landscapes and design their own mini canopy bridges to help wildlife move safely between green spaces.
Day 2: Isopods and Terrarium Building
Children will build a self-sustaining terrarium and learn about decomposers by observing and caring for live isopods in a miniature ecosystem.
Day 3: Renewable Energy & Solar Cars
Children will discover how solar energy powers the world—and their own solar-powered car—as they explore the difference between renewable and non-renewable energy.
Day 4: The Buzz About Bees
Children will uncover the vital role of bees in pollination, make a buzzing bee craft using a small motor, and learn what they can do to protect these disappearing pollinators.
Day 5: Trash to Treasure – DIY Self-Watering Pot
Children will upcycle a plastic bottle into a self-watering plant pot and take home their own plant while learning about waste, water conservation, and caring for living things.
