Course Overview:

Welcome to the exciting world of woodworking, where creativity knows no bounds! Our Woodworking Children's Camp is a place where young minds come together to explore the art and craft of woodworking. Our one-day camps provide unique and hands-on learning experience that fosters creativity and the development of valuable life skills.

Course Content:

Stationery Holder - Children piece together wood pieces to create something from nothing. They learn about reinforcements and how to make joints stronger.

Tool Caddy - The versatile project functions as a tool holder, stationery holder or a container to organise art materials. It can even double up as daddy's beer caddy (just saying...). Construction of the project involves sawing, drilling and some light hammering. Tools used are mini-sized and suitable for use by children.

Learning objective

The smell and feel of wood, using real tools, working with a natural material, the sounds of hammering and sawing, hands and minds working together to express their imagination and to solve problems, the use of strength and coordination: all go together to captivate young children’s interest.
