Danspirations - Junior Musical Stars (Musical Theatre)

Course Overview

Bring stories to life through movement, expression, and imagination! This Musical Theatre class gives young performers the opportunity to sing, dance, and act in a supportive and encouraging environment. Guided by Danspiration's teaching values, every child is seen, celebrated, and supported at their own pace while building confidence and performance skills through musical theatre.

Course Content

Each lesson combines dance, singing, and acting in an integrated musical theatre experience. Students learn fun choreography to build rhythm and stage presence, practise vocal projection and pitch through songs, and explore character work using facial expressions, dialogue, and improvisation. Children also collaborate on short scenes and routines, practising mini showings that help them gain confidence performing in front of others.

Learning Outcomes

Teaching Method

Classes are taught using a nurturing, child-centred approach that balances structure with creativity. Teachers provide clear guidance, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate challenges to ensure every child feels supported. Through repetition, play, and performance practice, students grow in confidence while enjoying the magic of musical theatre.

Prerequisites:

No prior experience needed - just a love for singing, movement, music, and having fun!

Assessment Methods:

It is a fun-based learning technique class, all while receiving friendly, encouraging feedback from their teachers to help them grow and shine! We always encourage the children to have the exciting chance to shine in our year-end performance. When the children are ready, the instructors will invite them to join the performing class!

Important Notes:

• This is a drop-off class where kids can enjoy their dance time independently, while parents can relax knowing they're in a safe, happy environment!
• Please note that the child will need to purchase a set of ballet attire upon enrolment. One set of ballet attire costs $75
• Attire payment will be made directly to Danspirations: DANSPIRATIONS PTE. LTD. - UEN: 201903199M
