Learning Outcomes
Culinary Skills Development: Our primary objective is to help campers develop essential culinary skills. This includes knife skills, cooking techniques, ingredient preparation, and proper food handling. Through hands-on practice and guidance from experienced instructors, campers will enhance their technical proficiency in the kitchen.
Cultural Awareness and Appreciation: Exploring cultures from around the world, campers will gain cultural awareness and appreciation. They will learn about the history, traditions, and customs associated with different countries. This exposure fosters respect for diverse traditions and encourages an open-minded approach to food and art.
Teaching methods:
As part of our camp programme, campers will engage in hands-on activities that encourage creativity. They will have the opportunity to experiment with recipe modifications, adding their unique twists to classic dishes. We believe that cooking is an art form, and we encourage campers to let their imagination run wild as they create their culinary masterpieces.
In addition to culinary skills, our camp also promotes teamwork, communication, and leadership through group collaboration. Campers will work together in group settings, learning to collaborate and support each other in the kitchen. They will participate in fun challenges and team-building activities that encourage effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving. With experimentations and group work activities, our instructors wish to form the best culinary learning experience for every child in the room.
