Course Overview:

The camp is designed for active participation in a diverse array of gamified activities, fostering the exploration of their individuality and the discovery of new skills.

Kamp Objective: To discover the very best in their physical abilities,

And an experience that enhances their psychological well-being. (Annyeonghada 안녕하다)

안녕하다 (Annyeonghada) means a state of peacefulness or a state of wellness.

  • Strong Body - taeXercise, taeKwondo, taeRobics
  • Strong Mind - Resilience, Problem Solving, Creativity
  • Strong Soul - Camaraderie, Confidence, Social Skills

Course content:

K·amp begins with a well-being check, and self-introduction for all participants to get to know each other. With basic Korean greetings to writing their name tags in Korean. Music-kick off as we get everyone energised for the day with our proprietary taeXercises, a fun-filled taekwondo-based exercise choreographed to the latest K-pop hits.

We then introduce a series of Korean Children's games to ice break and build teamwork among participants through play. The games are designed for cooperative participation and team-building efforts that promote collaboration, effective communication and problem-solving. Participants will be briefed on the K·coin system whereby they can use to barter trade for their snacks, extra materials/tools to build their craft, or even request for their choice of music during breaks. A short trip to a nearby K-mart, where participants can barter-trade for their K·snack, where participants toggle between resource budgeting and decision-making skills. Our facilitators actively engage participants in the discovery of K·culture.

Next up – participants shall unleash their creativity as the chief architects of their own craft, guided by the design thinking methodology from sketch to prototype building. Depending on the specialised theme of the day, participants now deep dive into their imaginative world to get their hands on making their DIY projects like Nan-Chucks, Kick-Accuracy aid, Weapon for armed combat training, destruction target for Gyeokpa (breaking), as well as props for taeRobics showdown.

Finally! It’s time for our Trickery Show-off, where participants stay focused and determined as we nurture their motor skills, agility and physical growth through mastering the tricks of our taekwondo-based activity, with a deep sense of pride using their self-made tools."

Learning outcomes: Strong Body • Strong Mind • Strong Soul

Strong Body

The strong body gets energy boosted through our taeXercises and ta·ba·ta participants get to discover their best physical abilities through play, a fun-filled non-grading taekwondo-based programme designed to build interest. Our proprietary music-based taeRobics combines the physical moves of Taekwondo with light-hearted Korean music. A creative art on its’ own!

Strong Mind

A strong mind is nurtured through motor skills mastery. Our trickery showdown where participants gain confidence, stay focused and determined as we nurture their motor skills, agility and physical growth through mastering the tricks of our taekwondo-based activity (nun-chucks, breaking, situational combat, taekwonDance) with a deep sense of pride using their self-made tools.

Strong Soul

Everyone loves to play games, games increase the probability that we repeat them and motivate people to repeat and improve their behaviour, subconsciously cultivating a lifelong commitment to health and wellness.

Teaching methods:

Embrace Individuality: Embracing individuality not only nurtures creativity and innovation but also encourages independent thinking and the exploration of unconventional perspectives. It empowers participants to challenge the status quo and unlock their creative potential.
