Course Overview
Step into a world of singing, dancing, and big imagination! Mini Musical Stars introduces young children to the joy of musical theatre through play-based learning and storytelling. Using well-loved stories and songs from shows such as Frozen, The Lion King, Moana, Cinderella, and more, children explore movement, music, and role-play in a fun, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to shine.
Course Content
In each session, children will sing along to familiar tunes, dance to upbeat music, and act out characters from their favourite stories. Lessons include simple choreography, imaginative role-play, and the use of props to create mini scenes and storytelling moments. Children will also practise basic performance skills by learning short routines and sharing their creations with classmates, building comfort and confidence through repetition and play.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the programme, children will: Build confidence in singing, moving, and expressing themselves Improve coordination, rhythm, and musical awareness Develop language and communication skills through storytelling and character play Strengthen creativity and imagination by bringing stories to life Build social skills and teamwork through group activities and shared performances
Teaching Method
Lessons are fully play-based and gently guided, following Danspirations' nurturing teaching approach. Instructors provide clear demonstrations, positive encouragement, and individual attention to ensure every child feels supported and included. Activities are designed to be joyful, engaging, and age-appropriate, helping children learn naturally through movement, music, and imagination.
Prerequisites:
No prior experience needed - just a love for movement, music, and having fun!
Assessment Methods:
It is a fun-based learning technique class, all while receiving friendly, encouraging feedback from their teachers to help them grow and sparkle! We always encourage the children to get the exciting chance to shine in our year-end performance. When the children are ready, the instructors will invite them to join the performing class!
Important Notes:
This is a drop-off class where kids get to enjoy their dance time independently, while parents can relax knowing they're in a safe and happy environment!
