P3 & P4 Mandarin Oral and Composition Camp 小三小四口试与作文集训营

Course Overview: 

Our programme is specifically designed for P3 and P4 students. Students will strengthen their ability to do oral practice, as well as learn how to write composition. In addition, we will incorporate fun activities to let students to love speak and writing in Chinese.

Course Content: 

Students will learn how to read articles in perfect Chinese phonics and presentation skills and will be familiar with the basic oral exam topics. Students will master picture composition-writing skills to form and complete a short story easily.

Learning Outcomes: 

• Reading: Sharpen reading skills through exposure to Chinese phonics and presentations.
• Conversation: Strengthen oral proficiency through engaging activities like story reading and show-and-tell.
• Writing Chinese Composition: Master creative writing techniques, making composition writing an enjoyable experience.

Teaching Methods:

Students will improve their oral skills by reading stories, show and tell and other interesting activities. Through various interesting and creative writing techniques, students will love writing Chinese compositions.

Through role-plays, games, and storytelling, students will practice using Mandarin to express themselves effectively. We use age-appropriate storybooks to encourage reading comprehension and foster a love for Chinese literature.

We understand the importance of learning fundamental Chinese characters. Our curriculum introduces primary students to commonly used Chinese characters in their daily lives, such as numbers, colours, family members, and common objects. Through interactive activities, flashcards, and writing practice, students will develop their reading and writing skills.

Prerequisites:

Students are expected to have a foundational understanding of the previous year's topics.

Assessment Methods:

Assessment encompasses oral evaluations, writing assessments, and show-and-tell sessions, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of each student's progress.

Required Materials: 

• Water bottle and stationery
• Han Tang will provide lesson materials. The child has to bring their lesson material every lesson.
• A $24 material fee is applicable each term, regardless of whether the child joins at the start or mid-term.

Important Notes:

If the lesson falls on a Public Holiday, a make-up lesson shall be arranged within the same week (Monday being the first day of the week).
