Overview
Does your child have a curious mind and a love for science? "Science Vanguards" is a unique Chinese writing camp that combines the wonders of science with the art of descriptive writing! Through hands-on experiments and a field trip, children will explore concepts like water tension, refraction, and density—all while building their skills in Chinese expressive writing. Join us for an adventure in science and language that will ignite young minds and inspire creative expression.
Course Content
In this camp, children will conduct exciting experiments and develop their Chinese writing skills as they describe scientific phenomena in detail:
- Surface Tension of Water: Understand the invisible forces at play on the surface of water and learn to describe these delicate interactions.
- Water Refraction: Explore the bending of light through water, creating a world of wonder for children to capture in their words.
- Density and pH: Experiment with density and pH to see how different substances interact, and learn the language to describe their discoveries.
- Outing to Sustainable Singapore Gallery: A visit to this eco-friendly gallery will expose children to real-world sustainability concepts, inspiring descriptive writing about environmental science.
