Vivo Kicks Soccer Camp

Course Overview: 

Our Soccer Camp offers a comprehensive soccer curriculum that combines hands-on training, tactical strategy, teamwork, and lots of fun! The camp is designed under the supervision of our coaches, ensuring that every child gets to learn, enjoy and express themselves on the soccer field. This programme provides an excellent opportunity for kids to develop their soccer skills, understand the fundamentals of the sport, and foster a lifelong love for the game.

Course Content: 

The children will engage in a variety of exercises that aim to improve their overall physical condition and soccer performance. This will include daily skills training sessions where children will learn and practice key soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and controlling the ball, followed by small-sided games to promote active participation, ensure more ball contact, and allow the children to experience the thrill of the game in a supportive and fun environment. Our camp also incorporates fun team-building activities to foster a spirit of cooperation, respect, and sportsmanship among the children.

Learning Outcomes: 

• Learn the Fundamental Skills: Teaches children the basic skills of soccer, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control.
• Spatial Awareness: Develop children's understanding of space and positioning on the field. Teach them how to find open spaces, create passing opportunities, and make effective runs into goal-scoring positions.
• Teamwork and Communication: Emphasize the importance of teamwork and effective communication among players. Teach children how to work together, communicate effectively, and support their teammates during gameplay.

Teaching Methods:

Our Vivo Kicks Soccer Camp provides a positive and inclusive learning environment where children can develop their soccer skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game. Our experienced coaches are passionate about soccer and dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. Our committed team of coaches are all first-aid certified and are required to go through a VivoKids training programme to ensure a high standard of coaching. Hand-picked and selected for their abilities to work with young children, our coaches possess extensive knowledge and experience in managing children.

Prerequisites:

Existing Vivokicks students and students with no prior background are all welcome to join the camp!

Assessment Methods:

No assessments will be done

Required Materials: 

Water bottle, sports shoes and sports attire

Important Notes:

• Snacks will be provided. Feel free to pack more if necessary
• Every child will receive a camp T-shirt and a certificate
• Activities will continue indoors if it starts to rain

Early drop-off and late pick-up at Agora:

Agora is offering an early drop-off and late pick-up service for parents who have signed their children up for our Holiday camps. Parents are welcome to drop their kids off from 8am onwards and pick them up by 8pm latest. This service is free for children aged 7 and above. Please do note that lunch is not provided unless stated by the camp provider so please do pack lunch if they plan to stay during lunchtime.
