Course Overview
Young Reporter: Life Explorer is a fun and interactive language programme designed for primary school students to build strong listening, speaking, and writing skills through real-life exploration. Children step into the role of "young reporters", learning how to observe their surroundings, capture interesting moments, and share their ideas confidently. Through storytelling, discussions, and creative tasks, students discover that language is not just a subject - it is a powerful tool to express the world around them.
This course nurtures curiosity, confidence, and communication skills in a lively and supportive environment.
Course Content
This programme is closely connected to daily life, making learning meaningful and enjoyable. Each day focuses on a different skill area while guiding students through the full process of observing, listening, speaking, and writing.
Day 1 - Life Observer: Students learn how to notice small details in their surroundings and record their observations like real reporters.
Day 2 - Active Listening: Children practise listening for key information from stories and classmates, strengthening focus and comprehension.
Day 3 - Speaking Skills: Students share their discoveries, practise expressing ideas clearly, and take part in group discussions.
Day 4 - Writing Practice: Children organise their observations into simple paragraphs, learning how to structure ideas in writing.
Day 5 - Reporter Showcase: Students present their work, give peer feedback, and celebrate their progress in a fun sharing session.
