Description
Course Overview:
Get ready for a hands-on eco adventure where science, sustainability, and nature come together! In this 3-hour workshop, explorers will discover how food waste can be transformed into nutrient-rich compost and used to grow healthy microgreens.
Through interactive STEAM-based activities, children will learn about the role of earthworms in composting, explore the science of decomposition, and experience the joy of growing their own food. This workshop not only teaches environmental awareness but also inspires children to make small changes that have a big impact on our planet.
Each child will bring home their own vermicomposting starter kit, a pot of microgreen seedlings, and ready-to-eat microgreens they’ve grown themselves!
