Jurassic Discovery Camp

Course Overview:

In our Jurassic Discovery Camp, children step into the shoes of young Paleontologists. Through interactive workshops, problem-solving challenges, and hands-on activities, they uncover the mysteries of dinosaurs and the prehistoric world. The camp culminates with an exciting visit to the Dinosaurs | Extinction | Us exhibition, where learning extends beyond the classroom.

Course Content:

Day 1- Welcome to the Age of Dinosaurs Paleontologist: What Do We Do? Exploring the Mesozoic Era Carnivores, Herbivores & Omnivores Observing & Analyzing a Dinosaur

Day 2 - Dinosaur Secrets & Survival Building Your Dino Model Dinosaur Detective: Tracking Down a Dinosaur Fossils & Me Living Dinosaurs in Our World

Day 3 - Exclusive Field Trip - Hands-on Learning at Science Centre! Dinosaurs | Extinction | Us - where kids step out of the classroom to explore, discover, and learn right inside the exhibition.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the camp, children will: Understand basic concepts of paleontology and the prehistoric era. Identify different types of dinosaurs and their characteristics. Learn how fossils are formed and what they reveal about the past. Develop observational and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities. Gain practical experience by applying knowledge in a real-world exhibition setting.

• Hands-On Learning: Children engage in workshops, model-building, and problem-solving challenges that foster creativity and critical thinking.

Water bottle, jacket and stationery.

• By registering your child for this holiday workshop, you acknowledge and consent to your child's participation in any excursions or off-site activities organised as part of the camp programme.
