With a strong foundation in mind, we'll delve into the instrument's physical characteristics, such as frets, fostering a deep connection between the learner and their musical tool. Our expertly crafted curriculum ensures that your child not only gains proficiency in playing techniques but also hones their musical intuition through a fundamental grasp of music theory, drawing on the innovative resources of "Music Mind Games."
Course Outline:
- Introduction to the Ukulele: Learn the parts of the ukulele and its frets
- Tuning: Master tuning the ukulele for accurate, harmonious sounds
- Hand Positioning: Develop proper techniques for comfortable, fluid playing
- Music Theory: Build basic music theory knowledge through Music Mind Games
- Chords & Tabs: Understand chord diagrams and how to read tabs
- Strumming: Learn basic strumming patterns to create rhythm
- Song Performance: Play a complete song using all learned techniques
