Mandarin (Hosting) Certification Intensive Training Camp 语言表达【主持】测评集训班

Find your voice on stage in Mandarin, and work towards a Shanghai Theatre Academy certificate.

Overview

This three-day intensive camp prepares children for the Mandarin Hosting certification exam by Shanghai Theatre Academy. Children grow their Mandarin speaking through lively drama: storytelling, role-play, improvisation and stage performance. With guided coaching, they work on pronunciation, voice, body language and expression. These are skills they will use in school presentations, interviews and daily conversation. At the end of the camp, children are invited to sit the official certification test at a local exam venue.

本集训班帮助孩子为上海戏剧学院颁发的语言表达（主持）认证考试做好准备。课程通过故事演绎、角色扮演、即兴表演和舞台呈现等生动的戏剧活动，提升孩子的华语表达能力。在老师指导下，孩子加强发音、声音表现力、肢体语言及情感表达。这些能力在学校汇报、面试及日常沟通中都非常重要。课程结束后，孩子将获邀到本地考点参加官方认证考试，有机会获得一张证书，为个人档案增添亮点。

Ai Tong School students from Primary 1 to 5 in 2026 who want to speak Mandarin with more confidence.

Class format

Three-day intensive camp, 3 hours a day. Conducted in Mandarin. Interactive speech and drama coaching. Held at Ai Tong School campus.

What will be covered

(1) Storytelling and role-play.

(2) Improvisation and stage performance.

(3) Pronunciation and vocal expression.

(4) Body language and emotional delivery.

(5) Preparation for the Basic level hosting certification test.

Certification Test (Optional)

Date: 23 Jan 2027 (Sat), 2:00 to 5:00 PM.

Venue: Josiah Montessori at Suntec.

Fee: $198 per child

Assessment agenda

2:00 to 3:00 PM: Final review and briefing on the exam format.

3:00 to 5:00 PM: Individual assessment time

• Each child takes about 10 minutes, in an order drawn on the day. Two examiners oversee the test.
• We video-record each performance and send it to Shanghai for official grading.
• The fee covers the review session, video filming, official grading and a physical certificate for those who pass.
• Results are released in about two months. Children who pass this Basic level are invited to progress to the Intermediate level.

Important Notes

Lesson materials are included. Please bring a water bottle and stationery for your child's own use.

Replacement Option

There is no replacement session for this camp. If your child is unwell, please submit a medical certificate. We will then give a credit refund, valid for one year.
