Marine Biologist

Course Overview: 

Marine Biologist is a STEM camp designed to help your child become an ocean explorer and satisfy their curiosity about marine life. 

With hands-on activities, ocean-themed games and interactive lessons, children will explore sea creatures and learn about the ocean's impact, making it an unforgettable experience.

Lesson Plan:

Introduction to Marine Biology and Ocean Layers 

Explore the basics of marine biology and the different layers of the ocean

Ocean Life - Vertebrate VS Invertebrates 

Discover the fascinating creatures that call the ocean home, from jellyfish to sea turtles.

Marine Mammals & Waves 

Dive into the world of whales, dolphins and other marine mammals. Learn about ocean waves and water pressure.

Sea Turtles Conservation & Ocean Predators 

Learn about sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation and explore the ocean's top predators like sharks.s

Ocean Sustainability & Singapore Oceanarium trip

Children will learn the importance of protecting marine life and ocean sustainability. The day concludes with an exciting trip to the Singapore Oceanarium, followed by a graduation ceremony.

No assessments will be done

Required Materials: 

Stationery, Water bottle, and workbook 

Important Notes: 

• There will be two snack breaks during the day.
• As lunch is not provided, we kindly ask that you pack a lunch for your child.
• By registering your child for this holiday workshop, you acknowledge and consent to your child's participation in any excursions or off-site activities organised as part of the camp programme. All excursions will be supervised by our facilitators to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
• The students will leave Agora for their excursion on Day 5, and arrive back at Agora between 5PM-5.30PM.
• Lesson as per usual on Public Holidays.
