Course Overview
Calling all Pokémon trainers! Get ready to embark on an exciting adventure into the world of 3D modelling and printing. In this workshop, you'll learn how to create your own Poké-themed creations using cutting-edge technology.
Through fun and interactive STEAM hands-on activities, our explorers will design their own Pokéball with a 3D pen and personalise their own 3D printed Pokémon plant pot.
Course Content
In this workshop, our explorers will delve into the world of 3D design and printing.
They will complete the following projects during this 3 hours workshop:
- Discover 3D Printing Magic: Learn how it creates real-world objects from digital designs.
- Create Your Own Pokéball: Use a 3D pen to design and build your favourite Pokéball.
- Paint a Pokémon Plant Pot: Personalize a 3D-printed Bulbasaur or Togepi plant pot with your favourite colours.
Learning Outcomes
In this workshop, our explorers will:
A. Gain knowledge of 3D printing technology and its applications.
B. Develop skills in 3D modelling and design using a 3D pen.
C. Enhance creative thinking while designing and building their inventions.
Teaching Method
Experiential Learning: Students will acquire knowledge through firsthand experiences and engage in practical, hands-on activities.
Prerequisites
No prerequisites are required.
Assessment
No assessments will be done but children will bring back the 3D artwork.
Important Notes
- Stationery and Water bottle
- There will be a 15-minute short break during the workshop for children to take a rest.
- Indicate preference of 1. Togepi Pot or 2. Bulbasaur Pot upon registration!
