Unveiling Da Vinci: A Renaissance Ramble

Course Overview:

Curious minds, step into the world of Leonardo Da Vinci, the ultimate Renaissance man! This captivating 3-hour workshop lets you become Da Vinci's apprentice and explore his multifaceted genius.

Children will learn about different topics and reinforce their knowledge with fun and interactive STEAM activities. This workshop is designed to engage children in a fun and educational exploration of the Renaissance through various STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities.

Course content:

In this workshop, our artist will walk in the life of Da Vinci and discover the different techniques and inventions he has created and explore how it has been incorporated to the current world.

They will complete the following projects during this 3 hours workshop:

• Unravel the Mysteries of the Renaissance: Crack the code of mirror writing, a secret communication method used by Da Vinci himself.
• Become a Master Artist: Learn fresco painting techniques, just like the ones used in Da Vinci's breathtaking masterpieces. Explorers even create their own self-portrait!
• Embrace the Legacy of Da Vinci: Recreate the iconic Vitruvian Man, a symbol of human proportions perfected by Da Vinci.

Learning outcomes:

In this workshop, explorers will engage in different activities to:

• Develop artistic skills through exploration of various techniques and creative expression.
• Gain historical knowledge about the Renaissance period and Da Vinci's influence.
• Enhance critical thinking by deciphering codes and tackling creative challenges.
