About Cognition
Our first priority is to support our children’s learning and intellectual development. We seek to deeply understand each child’s learning dispositions, and design effective teaching strategies and experiences to ensure that they truly grasp concepts, as well as grow their skills and capabilities.

We cover the essential subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and other areas crucial for preschoolers. Beyond simply memorising facts though, we help them develop higher-order mental processes of acquiring, processing, understanding, and using knowledge. We help our children develop comprehension, critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to connect and apply acquired knowledge in different contexts.

Learning through Play
At Agora Preschool, play is at the heart of what we do. Play is much more than fun—it’s how children naturally explore, problem-solve, and make sense of the world. Our activities, from science projects to creative storytelling, are designed to engage your child’s curiosity while encouraging the development of essential skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and social competence.

Personalised Learning for Every Child
No two children are the same, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. When your child joins us, we create an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) tailored to their unique strengths, interests, and developmental stage. Our teachers carefully observe your child’s progress and adapt their approach to guide, support, and encourage them every step of the way, ensuring they feel challenged but not overwhelmed.

While building your child’s academic foundations, we nurture their skills and habits of mind, and support their physical and emotional wellbeing. Our curriculum emphasises the development of empathy, resilience, and problem-solving skills, helping your child build the emotional intelligence that will support them throughout their life. By learning how to navigate relationships, express their feelings, and work through challenges, your child gains the tools they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.

Partnering with Parents
We know how important it is for parents to keep track of their child’s progress and wellbeing. We keep you in the loop with real-time updates through our Parent app. We also believe that parents play a key role in their child’s learning journey. We see education as a collaborative effort, and we maintain open and regular communication. We’re just a conversation away, celebrating milestones and successes big or small, and working through challenges together as your child grows.
