Chinese Hanyu Pinyin Camp

Course Overview:

Immerse yourself in Chinese culture with our Chinese Hanyu Pinyin Camp! This unique programme combines language learning with cultural exploration, handcrafting, and outdoor adventures to provide an enriching and immersive experience for participants of all ages.

Course Content:

The children will intensively learn the Hanyu Pinyin during the camp. They will embark on this learning journey through a variety of engaging activities:

1. Learning about Chinese Culture: Delve into the fascinating history, traditions, and customs of China through interactive sessions and presentations led by experienced instructors.
2. Chinese Handcrafts: Unleash your creativity as you engage in hands-on Chinese handcrafting activities. From traditional paper cutting to knot tying, participants will learn the art of Chinese craftsmanship and create their own masterpieces to take home.
3. Outdoor Activities: Experience the beauty of nature while participating in outdoor adventures that complement the theme of Chinese culture. Whether it's exploring scenic trails, practicing Tai Chi in the park, or enjoying a traditional tea ceremony amidst lush surroundings, participants will connect with the outdoors in meaningful ways.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Pronounce Mandarin words accurately using Hanyu Pinyin.
2. Gain confidence in their ability to speak, listen, and write.

Teaching Methods:

Our experienced instructors use a combination of group discussions, and hands-on activities to make learning Hanyu Pinyin engaging and enjoyable.

Prerequisites:

This camp is open to students of all levels from age 5-7 years old.

Assessment Methods:

Assessment will be conducted through participation in class activities, quizzes, and speaking exercises.

Required Materials:

Required to bring water bottle and basic stationery.

Worksheets and learning materials will be provided by Han Tang Teachers.

Important Notes:

• The recommended camp duration is 10 days, but it is possible to do a 5-day camp.
• The 5-day camp will run from Monday to Friday.
