Course Overview

Step into the shoes of different professionals each day while immersing in active, real-world Chinese language learning! This high-energy 5-day camp combines role-play, creative arts, hands-on making, and outdoor exploration. Designed to ignite curiosity and build authentic language confidence, children will apply their Chinese communication skills across five distinct career paths.


Course Content

Every day brings a brand-new career role and a tangible take-home project:

  • Day 1 | Little Artist (我是小小艺术家)
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Focus: Expressing artistic ideas through painting, working with clay, and crafting 3D art.
  • Take-home: Custom 3D Art Piece.
  • Day 2 | Little Mooncake Maker (我是小小月饼师)
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Focus: Exploring Mid-Autumn Festival traditions and cultural history while crafting DIY mooncakes.
  • Take-home: Personalized Mooncake Gift Box.
  • Day 3 | Little Reporter (我是小小记者)
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Outdoor Excursion)
  • Focus: Practicing active listening, observation, interviewing peers and community members, and public speaking in Mandarin.
  • Take-home: Official Little Reporter Interview Report.
  • Day 4 | Little Inventor (我是小小发明家)
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Focus: Applying problem-solving, design thinking, and practical building skills to solve real-world challenges.
  • Take-home: Creative Invention Model.
  • Day 5 | Little Culture Explorer (我是小小文化探索家)
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Outdoor Excursion)
  • Reporting Time: 8:50AM
  • Transport: Public Transport
  • Focus: Explore Singapore Chinese Culture, design game activities, learn unique Singaporean Chinese idioms and traditions
  • Take-home: Activity Booklet.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of this 5-day experience, students will:

  • Apply Practical Mandarin: Speak, present, and communicate in real-world scenarios outside the traditional classroom setting.
  • Develop Problem-Solving Skills: Apply design thinking and critical reflection through journalism and invention projects.
  • Gain Hands-On Confidence: Complete and take home five distinct, tangible physical projects showcasing their personal growth.


Teaching Methods

We use an Experiential Immersion Framework ("Create, Communicate, Explore, Discover"). Rather than passive textbook learning, concepts are taught through contextual role-play, tactile craftsmanship, and active outdoor challenges. The camp is fully conducted in an encouraging Chinese-speaking environment where instructors act as facilitators, helping children naturally learn professional vocabulary and conversational structures while having fun.

  • Days 1, 2 & 4 (Mon, Tue, Thu): 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Day 3 (Wed - Outdoor Reporter Day): 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Day 5 (Fri - Outdoor Cultural Day): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Excursion Consent: By registering your child for this holiday camp, you acknowledge and consent to your child's participation in any excursions or off-site activities organized as part of the camp programme. All excursions will be supervised by our facilitators to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
