Danspirations - Ballet Level 3

Course Overview:

Level 3 Ballet builds upon prior technical training, guiding dancers toward greater refinement, strength, and expressive quality. This level encourages dancers to apply technique with confidence, artistry, and musical awareness, while developing the discipline required for more advanced ballet study.

Course Content:

Level 3 Ballet classes introduce more challenging barre and centre exercises, focusing on strength, stability, and precision. Students work on improved turnout, alignment, and control, alongside more complex footwork, balances, turns, and small jumps. Musical phrasing, dynamic quality, and expressive performance are emphasised. Dancers are encouraged to retain corrections, demonstrate self-awareness, and apply technique consistently across combinations. Safe stretching and conditioning exercises support physical development appropriate for this level.

Teaching Method:

We blend formal ballet instruction with creative tasks and encouraging feedback. Movement is taught progressively with visuals and verbal cues. Lessons are designed to build confidence and enjoyment while introducing classical ballet technique.

Prerequisites:

Our ballet class recommendations are based on age and experience level. As children develop at different paces, a trial lesson is encouraged. During the trial, the teacher will observe your child’s movement and class readiness before recommending the most suitable class level.

Required Material:

Ballet attire: Class uniform and ballet shoes

Important Notes:

• This is a drop-off class where kids get to enjoy their dance time independently, while parents can relax knowing they're in a safe and happy environment!
• Please note that the child will need to purchase a set of ballet attire, when they enrol. One set of ballet attire costs: $72
