Course Overview:
Calling all movers and shakers! Is your child bursting with energy and ready to bust a move? We have the perfect environment for your kid to learn the coolest hip-hop and street dance moves while having a blast!
What will they learn?
- Fundamental hip-hop moves: We'll break down funky hip-hop moves and basics into easy-to-learn steps.
- Street dance styles: Explore the world of street dance with fun routines inspired by popping, locking, and more!
- Coordination & rhythm: Develop strong coordination and a feel for the music through fun exercises and routines.
- Make new friends: In this supportive and inclusive environment, you'll build confidence, and social skills and blast with fellow dance enthusiasts.
- Confidence & creativity: This is a space to express themselves, build self-esteem, and discover their unique dance style!
Most importantly, everyone is here to have FUN!
Little Dancer is about creating a positive and welcoming environment where kids can learn, laugh, feel safe, and make new friends. Our experienced instructors will guide them with patience, love, and encouragement, fostering a passion for dance that will last a lifetime.
Teaching Methods:
Our activities are thoughtfully curated to suit students of all ages. In children's hip-hop classes, we focus on energetic and playful routines that highlight rhythm and fundamental moves. We incorporate games and creative exercises to keep them engaged, using repetition and positive reinforcement to build their confidence. By encouraging self-expression and teamwork, we create a supportive and inclusive environment. Complex steps are broken down into manageable parts, ensuring the learning process remains fun and accessible for everyone.
Prerequisites:
No prerequisites needed
Assessment Methods:
No assessments will be done
Required Materials:
Bring a water bottle and be dressed in comfortable workout attire
Trial Lessons:
A paid trial lesson ($45) is available once for first-timers
Important Notes:
- Trial promotion from June to Aug 2024 - $25 per lesson for 1st timers
- Min 4 students to start a class
- No classes on Public Holiday
