Course Overview:

Teaching your child to be -Smart with Money, Bold with Ideas!

This Holiday Camp will enable your child to develop practical financial and entrepreneurial skills in an engaging, hands-on, and meaningful manner.

The Camp is led by a business owner qualified by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), with 22 years of professional experience, including 14 years in procurement within leading organisations.

Each child will receive an end-of-week assessment & certificate that they have completed & demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the camp content.

Course Content :  

Business Fundamentals:

• ⁠Creating a Business Plan
• ⁠Developing Business Strategy
• Launching a Marketing Plan
• Planning of Operations Execution
• ⁠Understanding of Human Resources
• ⁠Understanding of Finance or Accounting Concepts

Learning Outcome:

• Learn how money works and why smart financial habits matter.
• Create and present a simple business plan with bold ideas.
• Explore key business functions – marketing, operations, HR, and finance.
• Build confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Develop teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities.

Teaching Method:

• Hands-on Activities: Our instructors will challenge children to think critically and creatively through our range of activities
• Group Projects & Collaboration: Students work in teams to simulate real business scenarios.
• Encourages communication, leadership, and problem-solving.

Prerequisites:

No prerequisites are required

Assessment Methods:

A group presentation will be done on Day 5 of the camp

Required Materials:

Students are welcome to bring their own stationery. [Optional] Basic stationery, as well as paper and course materials, will also be provided, however.

Important Notes:

• Snacks and Lunch will NOT be provided
