Playschool - Weekend Wonders - Art Explorers

At our Art Explorers programme, part of our Weekend Wonders series under our Playschool, we prioritise giving children the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace. With parents supporting alongside and teacher guiding through creative, sensory-rich experiences, children explore colour, texture and technique, developing fine motor skills, artistic expression and confidence as young creators.

Through the course, children will be introduced to and progress through topics such as Colour, Shape, Texture, Imagination, Grip, Design, and Self-Expression. To encourage enjoyment and monitor progress by the end of each term children will achieve a badge and certificate of achievement.

• Bronze level is to explore these skills at a basic level, individually or in parent pairs.
• Silver level is to demonstrate awareness and competence by creating and sharing art within small group situations.
• Gold level is to refine age-appropriate creative and fine motor skills, showing the ability to apply imagination and techniques in collaborative or themed projects.

The Art Explorers Programme runs on a Saturday at 9:00am until 10:00am or a Sunday at 10:30am until 11:30am, each session has a 30 minute free exploration session after the class.

10-Session packages and 20-Session packages are available for purchase, valid for 6 months.

If a specific class in the term is missed, families are offered a make-up opportunity during the same weekend on the alternate day, or during the next term to ensure progression checklists can be completed and certificates and badges can be awarded.
