Playschool - Weekend Wonders - Mini Movers

At our Mini Movers programme, part of our Weekend Wonders series under our Playschool, we prioritise giving children the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace. With parents supporting alongside and teacher guidance rooted in natural curiosity and imagination, children are encouraged to move, explore and build strong foundational gross motor skills with confidence.

The sessions run over a 10 week term, and introduce health and skill related fitness components; such as Power, Agility, Strength, Co-ordination, Balance, Control, and Stamina.

To encourage enjoyment and to monitor progress by the end of each term children will achieve a badge and certificate of achievement.

• Bronze level is to start to master these skills at a beginner level, demonstrating them through individual activities.
• Silver level is to demonstrate awareness and competence in small group situations.
• Gold level is to hone the age appropriate gross motor skills and begin to apply understanding to small game situations.

The Mini Movers Programme runs on a Saturday at 9:00am until 10:00am or a Sunday at 10:30am until 11:30am, each session has a 30 minute free exploration session after the class.

10-Session packages and 20-Session-Packages are available for purchase, valid for 6 months.

If a specific class in the term is missed, families are offered a make-up opportunity during the same weekend on the alternate day, or during the next term to ensure progression checklists can be completed and certificates and badges can be awarded.
