Taekwondo - Junior Belt

Course Overview:

Taekwondo is a dynamic martial art that builds physical and mental strength through structured training. At Annyeong Club, our belt-graded syllabus provides students with a holistic experience that blends discipline, fitness, technique, and personal development in a safe, gamified learning environment. Whether you’re just starting out or progressing toward advanced belts, this programme is designed to enhance confidence, coordination, and self-discipline while having fun!

Class Structure:

1. Well-being Check – Ice-breakers and social check-ins to build a welcoming community
2. Energy Booster – Warm-ups and stretches to improve flexibility and prevent injury
3. Technical Training – Instruction on how to execute taekwondo moves effectively
4. Belt-Syllabus Practice – Focused poomsae and technique training for belt exam preparation
5. Cool Down with Games – Active recovery through fun, engaging games

Learning Outcomes:

• Learn practical self-defence skills

Prerequisites:

None. Open to beginners and experienced students.

Important Notes:

• Grading Seasons: January, April, July, and October (dates to be confirmed)
• Grading Fees: Apply separately
• Grading Venue: Physical grading held at Annyeong Club
• Uniform Kit: Child will need to purchase a set of Dobok (Taekwondo uniform) when they enrol into the regular class. 1 set uniform kit cost: $150.

Required Materials:

• Taekwondo uniform (Dobok)
• White round-collar t-shirt (required for girls)

Lesson Credit Packages:

• 8 credits – $360 (valid for 3 months)
• 16 credits – $700 (valid for 5 months
• 1 credit = 1 lesson
