Description

Course Overview

Wushu & Lion Dance is an exciting camp that blends ancient art of Wushu with the vibrant tradition of Lion Dance.


Teaching Methods

Our experienced instructors will guide kids through a spectrum of engaging activities to promote physical strength, flexibility, and discipline. They'll learn the basics of Wushu and fundamental movements that help to strengthen their postures. Students will also master the introductory skills and teamwork essentials for the vibrant Lion Dance.


Learning Outcomes

Beyond the physical benefits, this camp offers cultural insight, fostering a deeper appreciation for Asian heritage. Through teamwork and lively spirits, children will create lasting friendships. Join us for two days of adventure, where laughter, learning, and lion roars await. 


Note: There are no beating of drums, gongs and cymbals during this camp.


About the coach

The main organiser of this Wushu camp is Ms Xue (China National Grade Wushu judge and Coach, author of “Wushu Guides for Youths” 


Ms Xue Jun Hua graduated from Beijing Physical Education Institution (Martial Arts). She has won many championships in competitive events like sword play and cudgel. With Ms Xue at the helm, her team of coaches has been relentlessly inculcated close to a thousand medal winners over the past three decades, notably awards in the world and Asia arenas. 


Many of her students have attained accolades in various international competitions, notably top placings in the annual National Inter-School Wushu Championships.


Coach Xue’s students achieved numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the recent National Primary and Secondary School Wushu Championship.  


Attire

School PE kit or Wushu uniform if you have it.
