3D Pen Doodling

Course Overview:

Get ready to embark on an exciting adventure into the world of 3D modelling and printing! In this workshop, explorers will dive into hands-on STEAM activities, learning how to bring their ideas to life with cutting-edge technology.

Through fun and interactive projects, participants will design their own 2D keychain using a 3D pen and personalise a 3D-printed stationery holder to bring home.

Course Content:

In this workshop, our explorers will delve into the world of 3D design and printing.

They will complete the following projects during this 3-hour workshop:

• Discover 3D Printing Magic: Learn how it works in creating real-world objects from digital designs.
• Create Your Own Keychain: Use a 3D pen to design and create a 2D keychain.
• Explore TinkerCAD: Understand the basics of 3D modelling through TinkerCAD
• Paint a Stationery Holder: Personalise a 3D-printed stationery holder with your favourite colours.

Learning Outcome:

In this workshop, our explorers will:

• Gain knowledge of 3D printing technology and its applications.
• Develop skills in 3D modelling and design using a 3D pen.
• Enhance creative thinking while designing and building their inventions.

Teaching Method:

Experiential Learning: Students will be acquiring knowledge through firsthand experiences and engaging in practical, hands-on activities.

There will be a 15-minute short break during the workshop for children to take a rest
