Course Overview:
Calling all young inventors! This 3-hours workshop explore the world of Leonardo da Vinci, the ultimate Renaissance inventor. Unleash your creativity and embark on a hands-on adventure filled with invention and imagination!
Children will learn about different topics and reinforce their knowledge with fun and interactive STEAM activities. This workshop is designed to engage children in a fun and educational exploration of the Renaissance through various STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities.
Course content:
In this workshop, our inventors will delve into the world of Da Vinci's inventions and build incredible creations inspired by his genius. They will explore how this inventions have been incorporated to the current world.
They will complete the following projects during this 3 hours workshop:
- Catapult Construction: Become an engineer and build a working catapult model, learning about levers and forces.
- Parachute Power: Design and test different parachute models, exploring concepts of air resistance and drag.
- Flying Machine Fabrication: Let your imagination soar as you design your very own flying machine!
Learning outcomes:
In this workshop, explorers will engage in different activities to:
- Develop problem-solving skills through design and construction challenges.
- Explore core scientific principles related to force, air resistance, and flight.
- Enhance creative thinking while designing and building their inventions.
Teaching methods:
Experiential Learning: Students will be acquiring knowledge through firsthand experiences and engaging in practical, hands-on activities.

There will be a 15-minute short break during the workshop for children to take a rest
