Pokémon Robotics Lab

Build a walking robot, then send it on a Pokémon Patrol Mission

OVERVIEW

Calling all future roboticists and Pokémon Trainers! Ever wondered how simple motors create movement? In this hands-on robotics workshop, children build and customise their very own electric walking robot. They investigate how weight balance, leg angles and structure affect how a robot moves, then turn it into a Pokémon-inspired creation and test it on obstacle tracks. To finish, they send their robot on a Pokémon Patrol Mission. Join us for a standalone day of building, or as part of our 5-day Pokémon adventure series.

Your child will:

- Learn how motors, battery circuits and mechanisms turn electrical energy into movement

- Discover how weight, balance and linkage angles affect a robot's stability and walking path

- Test their robot on challenge tracks, fix movement issues and improve the design
