Secret Missions Camps: Strategy Starts Here!

Description
Course Overview:
Secret Missions Camps will help you learn to think about your opening moves instead of simply memorise openings. This way, you will build a solid foundation for mastering other famous and more complex openings in the future.
Course Content:
During this camp, we will teach you three "Secret Missions" that will introduce you to opening strategy so you can make good moves in the first 10-15 moves of a chess game.
Learning Outcomes:
- Eye-opening introduction to strategy!
- Learn opening strategy principles through “Secret Mission” lessons
- The "Secret Missions" distil popular openings into core principles
Teaching Methods:
We utilise a combination of storytelling, art, and drama to assist children in building their own characters. They can explore backgrounds, strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. Children learn more enthusiastically in a risk-free story-driven environment.
Prerequisites:
Ages 6 to 11
Participants who are familiar with checkmate
Assessment Methods:
No assessments will be done
Required Materials:
Water bottle
Important Notes:
The camp has a duration of 180 minutes, parents are advised to be on time for class. No additional time extension will be given if the class is missed.
